Signing of Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Kobe University |

On December 22 2008, the Kobe branch of WA Go Online signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Kobe University. This is particularly significant because it is the first partnership to take place between Kobe University and a foreign owned firm and WA Go Online is also the first Western Australian company to win a contract with a Japanese enterprise. For this reason, Craig Peacock, the Western Australian Government representative for development of business opportunities between Western Australian and Japanese companies also attended. All three parties are particularly excited by the new partnership because it will provide opportunities to consolidate and increase contact between other companies and Research Departments in both countries in the future. The Cooperative Research and Development project will focus on increasing current software capabilities to store massive amounts of data that can be stored and accessed efficiently.

The Kobe branch of WA Go Online participated in this year´s International Industrial Fair in Kobe, Japan.
The fair which took place on the 8th and 9th October 2008, promoted the exchange of information between business firms, enterprises, universities and other institutes of advanced technology. It furthermore served as a foundation for the creation of new businesses through business matching. |

The Himeji International Business Fair – July 10th 2008
The Kobe office of WA Go Online recently participated in the Himeji International Business Fair in Himeji, Japan. Along side a nicely done WA Government exhibit our new products, iMail, Ikipsi, iBackup and iMonitoring were on display.
There were many other interesting displays by a wide range of companies from a number of different countries. This made the IBF an excellent place to make new connections with other companies that have an international presence.
